The water crisis that we face today happens because of many different reasons. Some of the reasons are, drought, hygiene, and pollution. A drought simply means that it is difficult to find water because of a lack of rain, or a dam that blocked the water. During a drought, many people and animals suffer to find water. Now, even if people can find water, it can be unsafe. In an area with one main water source, people will wash and drink in the same place, which will make it unhygienic to drink. Unsafe water can cause diseases and kill. Factory and large farm pollution is another reason why water is unsafe. The chemicals used in a factory or farm can flow into a water source nearby, and people who drink that water will be consuming the chemicals too. This makes drinking water even more scarce in places.
